Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks,
The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily data entry from the bank into QuickBooks Online (QBO) for our clients after completing accounting due diligence. Ensuring correct QBO tagging for job costing purposes and communicating via e-mail in an organized manner, queries with the clients for unclear transactions, and consistent follow-up for their timely resolution. You will also be responsible for the weekly clearance of suspense account and other temporary entries, monthly bank reconciliations, closing adjustment entries, and preparation of a full set of financial statements along with all the necessary schedules and backups linked within M.S. Excel. This is a key role within our firm and serves as a foundation for all the other services we provide to our clients therefore, you will be working very closely with your manager daily and will be responsible for managing your priorities based on the workload.

Must have skills:

Professional Accounting Credentials (partially qualified candidates will only be considered only if they meet all other criteria)

Ability to work within CST Business hours
-
Comprehensive theoretical accounting knowledge
-
Hands-on verifiable experience (Minimum two years) in QuickBooks Online
-
Thorough knowledge of job cost accounting
-
Comprehensive knowledge of single-entry accounting, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
-
Thorough understanding of the preparation of financial statements
-
Ability and commitment to work during CST business hours of operation
-
Excellent written and spoken business English
-
Tech savvy person who can easily manage multiple platforms (Google dashboard, Slack & Asana)
-
Initiator, organized problem solver, and a team player who can set his/her own priorities appropriately
-
QuickBooks Pro advisor certification (Preferred, not required)
